IT Help Desk Zoom schedule for issues with Microsoft 365 email

The IT help desk will continue to offer virtual Help Desk assistance for Microsoft 365-related inquiries during the week of July 26. A Zoom room will be available for drop-in assistance. You will be assigned to a breakout room based upon your inquiry type. Please use a device that has a microphone.

Zoom hours:

Tuesday, July 27: 1-7 pm

Wednesday, July 28: 12-7 pm

Thursday, July 29: 12-3:15 pm and 5-7 pm

Friday Zoom sessions will return on August 20.


(Please be sure to join at least 30 minutes prior to the end of a session in order to allow us to end sessions at the designated time.)

If your inquiry is related to merging your legacy mail with Microsoft 365, we can assist you with exporting the data. Due to the length of time it takes for the file exports to complete, you may have to return at a later time/date if you require assistance with importing your data.

The Center for Teaching & Learning will offer a five-session self-paced workshop focused on best practices for teaching online. This workshop is completely asynchronous.

The workshop is scheduled for July 12 - August 20, 2021.

Google Meet Recording Change

Starting in the beginning of 2022, the ability to record Google Meets will be changing. The recorded video file will be restricted in the sense that it will only be available for 30 days, it cannot be copied or downloaded, and cannot be shared outside of the Queens College Google Workspaces instance. This has no impact on any recordings before that change and we remind you in advance of this switch happening.
